Data Engineer

We are looking for Data Engineer for globally recognised leader in fire, safety, security and defence. They are operating in over 50 countries, the company provides end-to-end security solutions, combining advanced technologies (such as surveillance, detection, screening) with managed services, training and consultancy. Their clients range from governments and NGOs to blue-chip companies and critical infrastructure operators. It is mission-driven company: protecting people, securing assets, and enhancing safety in high-growth and emerging markets around the world

Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture.

• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.

• Lead the design and implementation of Snowflake data warehousing solutions.

• Manage deployment, configuration, and administration of Snowflake environments.

• Collaborate with data architects and engineers to develop scalable data solutions.

• Ensure security and compliance standards are met within the Snowflake environment.

• Optimize the performance of Snowflake queries and data pipelines.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

• Evaluate and implement best practices for data warehousing and storage.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand and meet data requirements.

You need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Skills : Snowflake, SQL, ETL, Data modeling, Python, Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), Data security, Performance optimization

• Proven experience in leading Snowflake implementation and management.

• Experience with ETL tools, SQL, and data modeling.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
