VolleyStation is technology and sport in one. We create systems that change the way teams, leagues, and fans experience volleyball—from detailed data analysis and mobile apps to live statistics at the world's biggest events.

Working fast, diversely, and internationally, VolleyStation is looking for an experienced full-stack developer to help us expand and maintain our portfolio of products, focusing on volleyball statistics and professional sports competition management.

Your role

VolleyStation has a broad portfolio of products and services built in-house. We use those products daily to deliver our sports data capture and processing. Some of those products are also available to our clients in the form of SaaS.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Learning and understanding the process of data analysis in volleyball, as well as the resulting data flows with external systems like TV graphics.

• Having direct product conversations with our team of volleyball experts.

• Being a part of short and long-term tech planning.

• Expanding the functionalities of the current system and its integrations with core partners.

• Take part in the development of new products that we release yearly.

• Oversee the deployment of new features to both SaaS and live game environments. That can involve occasional international travel.

• Cooperate with our hardware team on integrating their custom-made solutions with our in-match software setup.

• Keep our software evergreen with deep technological upgrades.

• Cooperate with our Computer Vision team on integrating their data processing capabilities into our products.

Do we have a match?

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as a full-stack developer.

• Experience with FeathersJS (or similar) in the creation of REST APIs. A WebSocket-based live API experience is nice to have.

• Experience with Docker or PaaS to create scalable system services.

• Experience with a wide range of server-side technologies like S3 storage, Redis, Object, or Relational databases.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Minimum C1 level English is required for communication with our international team.
