Job description

About Vazco

At Vazco, we thrive on exploring the latest technologies, breaking new ground, and even challenging the status quo. That’s why we work on innovative AI-driven software projects that deliver real value and make a tangible impact for our clients.

Are you eager to deliver AI-powered solutions for startups, scale-ups, and enterprises worldwide? Want to make an impact in Open Source or non-profit projects too? At Vazco, you can do it all — shaping products, processes, and your own growth along the way.

Apart from that, you will find yourself in an authentic and open company culture. Our non-hierarchical structure means minimal management and transparent communication with everyone (including the CEO).

Now, let’s see what else makes joining our Crew so exciting! ⛵

About your future (project/work)

As a Product Manager at Vazco, you’ll take on a broad role that combines Business Analyst, Scrum Master and Product Manager responsibilities — giving you ownership of projects end-to-end and exposure to exciting challenges. You’ll work with the latest technologies while having the support of our PM team of 6 experienced specialists. Join us and help deliver top-notch Project & Product Management services, while developing yourself in the areas that excite you most.

Are we a match?

We are looking for just you if you have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a product management or related role (e.g. Product Owner, Business Analyst).

  • Hands-on experience working on software solutions — from design through delivery.

  • Exposure to different stages of the product development lifecycle, with some experience in coordinating or leading parts of it.

  • Experience in process mapping and optimization — you can visualize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.

  • A solid understanding of Agile software development (both theory and practice).

  • Familiarity with lean management tools and approaches.

  • Some experience contributing to or facilitating workshops such as Design Sprint or Discovery phases.

  • Ability to work with data and metrics to support decision-making, and prove the ROI of delivered products to the stakeholders.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Fluent English (B2 or higher) — you’ll collaborate daily with clients from all over the world.

  • Strong self-organization and accountability — you take ownership of your actions and outcomes.

  • Confidence in expressing opinions and negotiation skills.

  • Experience with AI tools and technologies and a strong willingness to work with AI-driven products.

It would be nice if you have experience with these

(but don't worry - you can learn them later):

  • Exposure to projects involving AI solutions.

  • Experience in working with Jira.

  • A certificate to prove your Agile/Scrum skills.

  • Other Project Management methodologies.

Your responsibilities as a Product Manager will be:

  • Support clients in defining the product vision and strategy, and ensure it’s clearly communicated within the team.

  • Make sure the team understands the business goals and translates them into actionable plans and KPIs that lead the product to the ROI.

  • Advise on optimizing delivery to align with the client’s objectives.

  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions, driving ideation, validation, and alignment on product direction.

  • Help define stakeholder needs and manage expectations in line with the product strategy.

  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.

  • Collaborate with the team to assign tasks, motivate, and resolve challenges effectively.

  • Work with subcontractors and partners to ensure high-quality delivery.

  • Monitor and manage the project budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
