Snowflake Architect – Data Security (m/k/d)

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect with strong expertise in data security and Azure cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure, scalable Snowflake solutions, leveraging advanced capabilities such as AI integration and Infrastructure-as-Code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and implement Snowflake solutions with a focus on data security, scalability, and performance.

• Conduct Snowflake platform assessments in areas including security, data protection, and scalability.

• Implement data modeling best practices for complex business use cases.

• Leverage Snowflake AI capabilities, such as CortexAI, to enhance data solutions.

• Apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or Bicep to automate deployments.

• Define and enforce access controls, encryption, and audit policies within Snowflake and Azure.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering roles.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and Azure Cloud.

• 2+ years experience in a Snowflake Architect role.

• Strong experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Bicep.

• Knowledge of Snowflake AI capabilities (e.g., CortexAI).

• Deep understanding of data security, encryption, access controls, and auditability in cloud environments.

• Excellent data modeling skills.

• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts effectively.
