Data Scientists (Mid and Senior)

Our banking project emphasized the need for Data Scientists (Mid and Senior).

Data Scientist

• traditional machine learning / statistical person
• also data engineering skills
• Medior +2 years of experience – independent
• Senior +4 years of experience - able to define and lead tasks
• BAU activities - lot of coding, experience of Python, GIT, a lot of interactions with the business, business understanding, good communication skills, they need to present results of the model, brainstorming in the team

Technical skills: 

• Python: Pandas, Numpy and any other Machine learning, statistic libraries, PySpark
• Bit of SQL, ETL, data engineering
• strong statistical, someone who is able to properly describe how they work and why to use this model except of another model
