What you will do:

• Bridge cutting-edge research and real-world applications by implementing both established and state-of-the-art machine learning methods

• Focus on applied research projects including reinforcement learning, deep learning systems, and LLM applications

• Work on algorithms from the research and idea stage all through to deployment on production

• Interact directly with various types of clients, from startups to multinational companies such as eBay

• Assure the integrity of project data (data extraction, storage, management, processing, and analysis)

• Collaborate with world-class researchers and scientists to develop new machine learning methods and approaches

Experience and skills you need to join us:

• Strong research credentials with proven ability to apply research to real-world problems

• Team-work attitude with great communication skills

• Software development and coding skills: Python, clean code, code reviews, algorithms and data structures

• Deep learning expertise with significant scale project experience

• Knowledge of reinforcement learning methods (DQNs or similar approaches preferred)

• Data-based problem-solving skills, i.e. ability to propose an appropriate tools from either ML, statistics, or software development toolbox to solve client problems

• Fluency in Polish and English (you will attend meetings with English speaking clients).

It would be great if you also have:

• PhD in computer science, machine learning, signal processing, or related fields

• LLM research experience or exposure to large language model applications

• Experience with advanced RL algorithms beyond DQNs

• Fluency in deep learning/machine learning libraries: pytorch, tensorflow

• Publication track record in machine learning/reinforcement learning/natural language processing venues

• Knowledge of SQL, Hadoop, Spark

• Leadership/mentoring experience

• Publication track record in machine learning/computer vision/natural language processing venues
