We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to join a data-driven team working on complex, large-scale data platforms. You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing robust data pipelines and architectures that power business-critical analytics and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Python and at least two of the following technologies: PySpark, Scala, Java, and SQL — delivering clean, reliable data flows across distributed systems

• Build and maintain end-to-end data solutions on Azure, leveraging services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Event Hub, and related components to ensure high availability and performance

• Develop and optimize data workflows in Databricks, including notebook-based transformations, Delta Lake management, job orchestration, and cluster optimization

• Implement and maintain Medallion Architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold) — ingesting raw data, applying business logic to curated Silver layers, and delivering high-quality Gold datasets ready for analytics and reporting

• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and ML engineers to define data models, ensure data quality, and align pipeline design with business requirements

• Monitor and troubleshoot production pipelines, proactively identifying performance bottlenecks and applying best engineering practices

• Document solutions and share knowledge across the team, contributing to internal engineering standards and best practices

Job requirements

• Senior-level Python skills.

• Experience in at least two out of the following four skills (2/4): PySpark, Scala, Java, and SQL. This experience must be gained from at least five different projects.

• Experience in development within an Azure environment.

• Experience with Databricks, gathered from at least five different projects.

• Experience in data processing using the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold), gathered from at least three different projects.

• Fluent communication skills in English
