Sybilla Technologies designs, builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team🚀
Your responsibilities:
- Implement company strategy within internal and external project boundaries.
- Manage software and hardware implementation projects, delivering data and analyses to customers.
- Define, monitor, and control project scope, schedule, risk, budget, and quality.
- Develop project documentation and proposals with technical experts.
- Coordinate internal and external teams, ensuring necessary resources and deadlines are met.
- Prepare progress reports and manage project information.
- Set priorities, manage time, and resolve project challenges.
- Collaborate with Software and Sensor Operations teams on planning, budget, and resource management.
- Present projects, share project management knowledge, and contribute to Project Management Office.
- Ensure project closure, conduct post-project reviews, and participate in PMO hiring processes.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role, ideally in the specialized IT, STEM sector.
- MSc or PhD degree.
- Fluent Polish and English in speech and writing (strong communications skills).
- Technical Writer skills.
- Agile (or other) project management experience.
- Proven ability to plan and execute implementation and operational projects (applicants with specific examples preferred).
- Experience in managing long-term relationships with strategic partners.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in a fast-paced -environment.
- Familiarity with hardware-software systems working in global and/or remote environments.
- Familiarity with the astronomy / optical observations of the night sky.
- Security clearance for EU/ESA SECRET sensitive information or willingness to go through security check to obtain such clearance.
Terms of employment:
- Employment will be delivered in a remote or hybrid model (main office in Bydgoszcz, Poland).
- Ability to travel to remote sites (on a need basis) and to headquarters (once per quarter).
- The candidate will have a specialist assigned as mentor during initial weeks of employment.
