Maconomy ERP Specialist

Key responsibilities

• System Ownership: Act as the subject matter expert for Maconomy, driving continuous improvement, system upgrades, and major implementations.

• Financial and Audit Support: Support project accounting, billing, revenue recognition, period-end close, and external audit preparations.

• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure the system supports statutory financial reporting (including local GAAP/IFRS) across multiple European entities.

• Banking and Integrations: Oversee banking processes, payment formats, and troubleshoot integrations (Expense, Banking, Payments).

• Data Management: Manage master data, system controls, and user access.

• Collaboration: Act as a bridge between Finance, Project Management, IT, and external partners.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Maconomy (strong understanding of its data model)

• Strong expertise in project-based ERP, financial modules, and banking processes within a complex, multi-country organization.

• Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and propose sustainable solutions.

• Strong communication skills in English to effectively engage with both finance and IT stakeholders.

• Strong plus: Experience with statutory reporting, local GAAP/IFRS, or Maconomy upgrades and migrations.

You will join a high-functioning, multi-country team of 16 dedicated colleagues managing our Financial applications portfolio. We maximize digital tools to work effectively at a distance, but also meet for cooperative sessions in Stockholm every 1-2 months.
