Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior QA Analyst for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is a global company specializing in intelligent automation solutions, providing integrated systems for warehouse logistics, material handling, and supply chain optimization. The solutions range from automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) and conveyor systems to automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and advanced robotics, software, and artificial intelligence-driven warehouse management systems. These systems optimize the movement, storage, and handling of goods, helping companies increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.  

The QA Analyst is primarily responsible for testing the latest software updates from various development teams and ensuring their accuracy and stability.  It also includes performing various manual tests (specific and exploratory), executing automated tests during each release cycle, and reporting the results to different team members.  You will also assist in validating newly created automated tests for applications to expedite the testing process. You will also attend daily stand-up meetings with the team and provide insight into potential improvements to the QA testing sequence and application usability.  

Overlap till 19:00 CET.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a QA role supporting application testing.

• Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of planning, analysis, and testing techniques to support Windows-based and web-based applications.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Good technical knowledge with the ability to learn new applications quickly.

• Self-starter and detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong desire to learn and grow in this position.

• You will work 40 hours a week, but you should have the willingness and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in a Scrum/Kanban environment using Jira/Confluence.

• Experience with Microsoft Flow/Power Automate.

• Familiarity with CET development.

  
  

Responsibilities:

• Test software changes for accuracy and ensure system stability on multiple applications.

• Participate in the daily testing of various systems and validate automated testing modules.

• Assist with releases as needed and run additional performance benchmarks.

• Provide exploratory testing of the applications, especially when dealing with cross-application integration features.

• Run automated tests and report on them.

• Execute manual tests against pre-defined test cases.

• Validate UI-based automated tests created by others (application-specific as well as cross-application).

• Generate and update reports based on test results.
