Quality Assurance Engineer

Job description

The project moves away from traditional static navigation toward a dynamic, contentdriven "Feed". This is designed to mirror the engagement of social media platforms, providing guests with a curated stream of brand news, exclusive offers, and "Village" updates tailored to their specific interests.

Strategy & Planning:

• End-to-End Test Strategy: Develop the master test plan covering Unit, Functional, Regression, Performance, Security, and Cross-Device testing.

• NFR & Compliance: Ensure the platform meets strict Non-Functional Requirements, specifically WCAG 2.2 AA Accessibility standards and secure authentication protocols.

• Test Data & Migration: Define the strategy for validating data migration from legacy systems to the new scalable cloud architecture.

• Automation Roadmap: Set up the automated testing pipeline integrated into the CI/CD workflow.

Execution & Reporting:

• Cross-Platform Validation: Lead testing across iOS, Android, and Web to ensure a seamless "feed-first" guest experience.

• Integration Testing: Verify complex API connections between the core platform and third-party services (Payment Gateways, PIM, DAM, and Analytics).

• Performance & Load: Execute stress tests to ensure the platform handles high traffic volumes (e.g., during "Drops" or promotional events).

• UAT Facilitation: Manage the User Acceptance Testing process with VR stakeholders, providing clear logs and "Test Certificates" for milestone sign-offs.

Technical Requirements (must-have):

• QA Strategy & Leadership: Proven experience leading QA for large-scale B2C platforms (Mobile + Web).

• Hands on experience in test automation with Playwright (TypeScript), Postman - API

• Mobile Testing Expertise: Strong experience with geo-targeting, mobile app behavior, and cross-device fragmentation.

• API & Integration Testing: Expert knowledge of REST API testing and validating third-party integrations (Postman/SoapUI).

• Accessibility (WCAG): Practical experience testing for WCAG 2.2 AA compliance.

• Performance Testing: Experience with load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) to simulate high-traffic scenarios.

• Automation: Hands-on experience building automated test suites within a CI/CD pipeline (Azure DevOps Security)

• Mindset: Familiarity with testing OAuth/OpenID

• Connect and identifying common vulnerabilities.

• Good communication skills (written and verbal)

• Jira Proficiency

• Full time availability, with overlap during 14:00-18:00 - to ensure seamless collaboration with USA based client

Additional Requirements (nice-to-have):

• Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) or PIM systems.

• Experience in the Luxury Retail or E-commerce sector.

• Familiarity with Cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure) and auto-scaling validation.

• Hands on experience with testing AI-based solutions (Python).
