The Opportunity 

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with Go and React for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is a leading labor marketplace for the IT field service, connecting companies and skilled technicians to do great work. They match contract IT and other freelancers with corporate clients through an online marketplace of 100,000 service providers. Businesses can expand their service offerings by building and deploying a flexible field services workforce across geographies in the U.S. and Canada, and technicians can find work that fits their schedule and skill set. The client’s mobile app provides real-time work order tracking, negotiation of counteroffers, access to payment history, signature capture, and document uploading.

A big global team, the engineer will overlap with the US team in CST and with the team in Bangladesh. 

Requirements:  

• 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer. 

• 4+ years of experience in Golang development. 

• Experience with Node.js is a huge plus. 

• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+) and React. 

• Understanding of building and consuming RESTful APIs. 

• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and performance. 

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and modern testing practices. 

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS preferred). 

• Familiarity with AI development tools and agentic coding approaches. 

• Strong knowledge of  Git and Linux-based systems (Ubuntu/Debian preferred). 

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. 

• Upper-intermediate level of English or higher. 

Nice to have: 

• Experience with React Native. 

• Experience working with distributed/offshore teams. 

• Exposure to microservices architecture. 

• Prior experience in the marketplace or SaaS platforms. 

Responsibilities: 

• Contribute to a modern SaaS platform hosted on AWS that supports a global gig-economy marketplace. 

• Work across the full stack: backend services (Node.js and/or Golang) and frontend applications (React/React Native). 

• Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices. 

• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment processes. 

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, UX, and stakeholders to deliver impactful features. 

• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions. 

• Break down complex initiatives into manageable deliverables. 

• Leverage modern development approaches, including AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows, to improve productivity and code quality. 

• Bring innovative ideas on how technology can solve complex business challenges.
