Senior Engineering Cost Analyst

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Engineering Cost Analyst for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is a global company specializing in intelligent automation solutions.  

We need someone with sufficient training or exposure to mechanical engineering concepts to understand technical drawings and bills of materials. You must also have experience in data analysis, enabling you to model product costs based on the bill of materials and part costs loaded in SAP. 

This role requires working hours with overlap till 7-8 PM CET.

Requirements:

• Expertise in reading complex product drawings and assessing product Bills of Material.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.

• Outstanding team interaction and communication skills.

  
  

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of SQL.

• Strong knowledge of BI tools and platforms – PowerQuery or Power BI are most useful.

• Expertise in presenting data findings in simple and easy-to-understand ways.

• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

• Ability to work with global colleagues.

• Ability to set and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work in high-pressure situations.

  
  

Responsibilities:

• Use statistical techniques to model the cost of complex machinery.

• Utilize company resources to investigate and understand products and how configurations affect cost and services.

• Work independently and as part of a team to develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

• Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.
