Job description

At STX Next, we are developing the JavaScript Technology Department based on a growing community of enthusiasts. Despite often working remotely and dispersed, we collaborate on various initiatives and actively participate in meetups related to technologies such as React Native, React, Node and others (we are participants, speakers, and organisers). We aim to seize every opportunity to meet in person, work together as a team, and integrate.We approach our technical skills in a holistic manner, expanding our expertise both in terms of seniority and specialisation in React Native, React, Angular, Vue, Node.js and other technologies. We stay up to date with the latest trends, monitor emerging frameworks and libraries. Whenever possible, we utilise AI to enhance efficiency, improve work comfort, and achieve even better results.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications.

• Create clean, maintainable, scalable and efficient code.

• Troubleshoot and debug applications.

• Implement security and data protection.

• Identify programming bottlenecks and bugs, and find fixes.

• Collaborate with team members for continuous improvement.

• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends.

• Spreading knowledge about new and relevant technologies among the development team.

• Coding features (data access, business logic and UI), fixing bugs and writing unit tests.

• Testing and documenting (if required to help the team achieve goals).

• Conduct code reviews of other team members.

Requirements

Must have:

• Have commercial experience in React Native and React.

• Knowledge of built-in Hooks, Context API, React Server Components.

• Navigation and State Management (Redux, React Navigation).

• Strong knowledge of the latest JavaScript standards and libraries.

• TypeScript proficiency - Utility types, generics or discriminated unions.

• Ability to write clean, readable and testable code, practical knowledge of unit testing.

• Knowledge of functional programming paradigms.

• Responsive design knowledge using Dimensions, Flexbox.

• CI/CD Basics - application automation, tools like Fastlane, Bitrise or CodePush.

• Knowledge of how to bring an application into the world (App Store & Play Store).

• Mobile Platform Skills for Debugging and iOS, Android build processes.

• Knowledge of Deep linking, push notifications, and in-app purchases.

• Good communication skills in English (minimum B2).

Nice to have:

• Ability to set up a scalable project architecture (shared component libraries).

• Deeper understanding of React Native internals (JSI, Fabric, TurboModules).

• Performance Profiling (Flipper, Xcode Instruments).

• Experience with E2E tests (Detox or Appium).

• Applying concepts for Accessibility and Internationalisation.

• Understand mobile security (data protection, secure storage).

• Implement secure authorisation flows (OAuth2, Biometrics).

• Experience with other front-end frameworks (Vue, Svelte, Angular).
