Python Developer

Our client is an automotive company looking for a Python Engineer with experience in creating parsing scripts and integrating various systems. Your main task will be to develop scripts that will allow transferring requirements from Jama to Jira with the click of a button. The systems you'll be working with include Jira, Jama, and CodeBeamer.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop scripts to integrate systems (Jira, Jama, CodeBeamer)
• Automate processes related to requirements management:
• Automatically trigger baselining in Jama once a change request in Jira is accepted
• Export Jama requirements in recIF format
• Support branching in Jama (branching a new project from a main project)
• Track and synchronize requirements across branches
• Automation does not need to be live – it is sufficient to trigger on demand or time-based.

Requirements:

• Experience in the automotive industry (including knowledge of technologies such as Jama or similar)
• Advanced knowledge of Python
• Experience working with APIs (REST APIs)
• Knowledge of GitHub/GitLab (including utilizing pipelines)
• Experience in automating processes related to requirements management
