Python Developer

We are looking for an experienced Python developer to work on a web application and join the team that creates interesting projects for one of the leaders of the aviation industry in Europe!

Project information:

• Industry: Aviation

• Remote work: 100% remote work

• Office location: Warsaw

• Project duration: long-term cooperation

• Budget: B2B: 500 - 880 PLN net/day; UOP: 8000 - 12 000 PLN gross/month

• Methodology: Agile/ Scrum

• Start date: depending on the candidate's availability

Project scope:

• Develop and maintain scripts and web applications using Python and Django

• Design and enhance web functionalities on both the frontend and backend

• Create and optimize frontend features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery), and PHP

• Maintain and improve the existing codebase, ensuring high code quality and performance

• Work with databases (Oracle SQL and MS SQL), including query writing and performance tuning

• Monitor and troubleshoot systems using tools such as Elastic and Zabbix

• Collaborate with the team on designing new features and solving current issues

• Create technical documentation for developed code and functionalities

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role

• Practical experience with Python and Django in commercial projects

• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery), and PHP

• Experience working with version control systems (GitLab preferred)

• Ability to design UI/UX based on business requirements

• Experience working with databases (Oracle SQL and MS SQL preferred)

• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Experience in Agile or Scrum environments

• Communicative English (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js

• Knowledge of FastAPI and SQLAlchemy

• Understanding of DevOps practices and automation

• Skills in optimizing web application performance and database queries

• Familiarity with Linux system administration

• Experience with cloud platforms (especially Azure or AWS)

• Experience with message queuing systems like IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, or Azure Event Hub

• Passion for new technologies and a desire for continuous learning
