Unity Developer

Project description:

We are seeking a skilled Unity Developer to design and implement next-generation HMI solutions for innovative in-vehicle systems. You will work in an international, agile team, collaborating with designers and engineers to deliver seamless, high-performance user experiences. This role offers the chance to contribute to both cutting-edge prototypes and large-scale production projects, shaping the future of digital mobility.

Must-Have Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional Unity development experience. 

• Proven track record in UI/HMI projects (automotive, industrial, or consumer electronics preferred). 

• Strong knowledge of C# and Unity frameworks. 

• Experience with real-time rendering, animations, and UI optimisation.

• Familiarity with integrating Unity apps with hardware platforms and external APIs.

• Understanding of design patterns, clean code practices, and performance profiling.

• Fluent in English (B2+). 

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

• Kotlin knowledge – a huge plus, especially for cross-platform HMI and Android integration. 

• Android Automotive experience – a huge plus, especially for infotainment and in-vehicle HMIs. 

• Flutter framework knowledge – a strong plus for multi-platform UI/HMI development. 

• C++ knowledge.

• Experience in embedded development or integration with Qt/other HMI frameworks.

• Knowledge of multimodal HMI (voice, touch, gesture, AI agents). 

• Exposure to safety-critical or regulated environments (automotive, medical).

Main responsibilities:

• Design and implement HMI solutions using Unity engine (UI Toolkit, UI Builder, or custom solutions). 

• Collaborate with designers, embedded engineers, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences. 

• Optimize performance for real-time rendering and resource-constrained devices.

• Integrate Unity-based HMIs with external systems, middleware, and hardware. 

• Support proof-of-concepts, demo accelerators, and production projects for international clients. 

• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and agile ceremonies.
