EDI Specialist

Requirements:

Experience with Seeburger BIS:

• Installation, configuration, and administration of the Seeburger BIS platform
• Creation and maintenance of mappings using Seeburger Mapping Designer
• Monitoring and troubleshooting within the Seeburger BIS environment
• Integration of business partners via various EDI and API interfaces
• Involvement in upgrade and migration projects within the Seeburger environment

Strong knowledge of EDI standards:

• EDIFACT, XML, X12, IDoc, VDA, and other EDI standards

Experience with mapping tools:

• Familiarity with Seeburger Mapping Designer and other related tools

Expertise in B2B integration and API connections:

• Strong understanding of interface technologies and their implementation

Knowledge of communication protocols:

• AS2, SFTP, FTP, OFTP2, HTTP(S), REST, SOAP, and related protocols

Language Skills:

• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• Nice to have: German language skills

Other Skills:

• Nice to have: Experience with SAP Cloud Integration (SAP CI) for EDI processes
• Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented, independent working style
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced EDI Specialist to support the management, optimization, and maintenance of our client’s EDI infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include configuring, troubleshooting, and improving EDI processes, managing integrations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide high-quality technical support, implement projects, and continuously improve data exchange solutions. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the stability, scalability, and efficiency of EDI customer solutions to meet their business needs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support national and international customer projects transitioning to Application Management
• Implement extensions and customizations in customer EDI systems
• Incident management (troubleshooting), including key user and end-user support
• Program and maintain EDI mappings
• Create and configure EDI partners
