Senior .Net Developer with Data Analytics

We are looking for Senior .NET Developers with Data Analytics skills to join Sopra Steria Apps Services in a project for our international client in transportation sector. You will work with in international team, developing an application that manages public transport in one of the largest European cities. 

Note that we can offer cooperation only to people who are located in Poland and have European citizenship.

Missions/activities:

1. Implement solutions and deliver high quality software
2. Help to define requirements, create software designs and translate them into code
3. Capture pain points, use cases, requirements, and opportunities from data consumers and stakeholders,
4. Define an enterprise architecture for a digital operational data platform that includes the Data Foundations layer,
5. Document and assess all source data feeds,
6. Define and document the interfaces between D&A and source system data feeds,
7. Define the interfaces and solution ownership between D&A and Tech Dev/Digital components of the solution, and document responsibilities for each,
8. Define a roadmap for incremental delivery of Data Foundations to demonstrate early value,
9. Define the system support requirements, including Data & Analytics Platform gap analysis
10. Define a release/migration plan to move from the existing platform to a new one whilst maintaining continuity of service,

Requirements:

• Expert in Data & Analytics development and implementation using Agile and equivalent methodologies, 
• Ability to deliver complex data products using the Azure tech stack,
• Detailed knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, data modelling and experience dealing with big data,
• Good knowledge of data schema structures, design and how they can be correctly applied to deliver robust solutions that meet specifications,
• Min. 7 years of experience in software development in C#
• Expertise in the following coding skills 
• C# .Net, C# .Net Core 
• TDD, CI/CD
• Object Oriented Design, Clean Code Techniques
• Expertise using Azure DevOps for Git, Pull Requests, Backlog Work Item Management
• Expertise in the following Microsoft Azure Services and technologies:
• Functions, Service Bus
• SQL Server, CosmosDB, Storage 
• Azure DevOps, Bicep
• App Insights
• API Manager, Active Directory 
• “Can-do” attitude and good communication skills
• Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice
• Fluent English (B2/C1)
