Security Engineer with French

We are seeking a Security Engineer with French  to join the Sopra Steria Polska team and contribute to a project for a leading French telecommunications company. You will support the deployment process (MEP) by preparing documentation and ensuring the security of new solutions being implemented. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of the MEP process and gain hands-on experience in operational security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the engineering teams complete the required security documentation

• Analyze the results of security scans and tests

• Verify that appropriate corrective actions are implemented prior to deployment

• Conduct risk analyses for unresolved issues ahead of deployment

• Collaborate with the internal security team to ensure proper integration of systems with existing security tools

• Prepare the final security assessment for each project

• Process requests for firewall rule changes

Requirements:

• Ability to analyze technical documents such as HLDs (High-Level Designs) and LLDs (Low-Level Designs)

• General understanding of business infrastructure and architecture

• Basic knowledge of networking and network equipment

• Fundamental understanding of Linux system administration

• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility in leading projects

• Full professional proficiency in French (required for communication with engineering teams and external vendors)

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with telecom infrastructure

• Hands-on experience with the MEP process

• Knowledge of security principles, including vulnerability management (e.g., CVEs)

• Intermediate English skills (primarily for reading technical documentation and occasional communication)

Working hours – Monday-Friday, business hours
