Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity / Data Protection) with German
Currently, we are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join a technology company specializing in cybersecurity, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
The role is strongly focused on pre-sales activities, technical consulting, and close cooperation with enterprise customers, mainly from the German-speaking market. The client places a strong emphasis on pre-sales experience and solid knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection technologies.
Tasks:
Communicating the business and technical value of products, new features, and upcoming releases to enterprise customers
Delivering product presentations and technical demonstrations
Coordinating and supporting Proof of Concept (PoC) processes for prospective and existing clients
Conducting technical training sessions for key customers and business partners
Proactively resolving customer questions, technical issues, and product-related inquiries
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with enterprise clients and strategic partners
Supporting sales representatives with technical expertise during commercial projects
Managing technical communication with clients via Jira, email, and other channels
Expectations:
Strong focus on pre-sales activities and customer-facing technical work
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value
Proactive mindset and ownership of assigned responsibilities
High level of customer orientation and communication skills
Willingness to work onsite and collaborate closely with sales and technical teams
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role (Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar)
German – C1 level (mandatory, daily cooperation with German-speaking clients)
English – minimum B2 level
Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience with:
Windows, Linux
VMware, Hyper‑V
MS SQL, Oracle
Active Directory
Git, Jira
Confident, reliable, and customer-oriented mindset
Proactive, flexible, and solution-driven approach
What We Offer:
Contract type: Employment contract (UoP) or B2B contract
Salary:
Employment contract: 15000 – 18200 PLN gross + bonus
B2B: 107 – 131 PLN/h net + VAT + bonus
Working time: Full-time
Core hours: 9:00–15:00
Working mode: Onsite, Office locations: Gorzów Wielkopolski, Kraków, Warszawa, Katowice, Berlin
Start date: ASAP (notice period negotiable)
