IKM Tools Support and Application Tester

We are looking for an IKN Tools Support & Application Tester to join our Partner supporting NATO operations.

Location: Braine-l'Alleud, BE – relocation is required.

The candidate is required to possess a valid NATO SECRET security clearance.

Responsibilities:

Testing and Quality Assurance,

• Test IKM Tools releases through manual and automated testing of user behavior and backend functionalities across NATO networks.

• Create and document test cases, guidelines, and at least 20 tests monthly.

• Track test execution and development tasks with the team.

• Identify software defects and propose solutions and recommendations for improvements.

• Participate in Agile Scrum sprint cycles (3-week cycles).

Documentation and Process Management

• Prepare technical and user documentation, including How-To guides and Test Plans.

• Act as Document Controller, ensuring completeness, quality, and archival of CPS documentation.

• Maintain and implement information handling procedures.

Application and Tools Expertise

• Experience in application testing at system, integration, and regression levels.

• Knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with SharePoint environments and IKM (Information & Knowledge Management) tools (EDMS, PITT, NIP, TT+).

• Ability to create test plans, test cases, and technical documentation.

• Experience with bug tracking and quality assurance processes.

Experience and Education:

• Relevant degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar discipline.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in application testing, QA, or similar roles.

• Demonstrable experience with manual and automated testing tools and methodologies.

• Familiarity with SharePoint and IKM toolsets.

• Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret.

• Experience documenting test results and preparing user guidelines.

Desirable Experience:

• Prior experience working in an international military/civilian environment.

• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization (including ACO and ACT).

• Agile Scrum methodology experience.

Training & Certifications (desirable):

• Certifications in QA, Agile Scrum, or relevant IT tools and processes.

Offer:

• On-site position in Belgium (Braine-l’Alleud) - relocation is required.

• Full-time, long-term B2B contract with Shimi, renewable for up to one year.

• Start date: 02 February 2026.

• Rate: 82 EUR/h net.

• Security Clearance: NATO Secret.
