Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our client's team, carrying out a project for one of the EU institutions in Warsaw.

Typical tasks and responsibilities:

• Models and documents value chain/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities, and data.

• Elicits and analyses business needs, requirements, and user stories,

• Supports business experts and product owners during the definition of requirements and software development

• Maintains and tracks requirements/user stories in system's lifecycle

• Transfers business, users, and technical needs into business requirements specification,

• Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, and system features

• Analyses available systems

• Supports the identification of options for potential solutions

• Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management.

• Responsible for designing, validating, and testing business processes for achieving business process excellence

• Responsible for taking a holistic approach in the planning and managing of a programme for continuous improvements of business processes

• Responsible for coaching client's staff on upcoming changes, ensuring that a plan is in place to teach new skills and/or process changes

• Collaborates with owners of end-to-end processes to continually seek out process improvements

• Identifies opportunities for business process improvement, leading to improved customer service

Knowledge and skills:

• Has gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of the software solution

• Knowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation,

• Knowledge in requirements/user stories elicitation and analysis,

• Knows analysis/modelling notations like UML (capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model etc.)

• Is proficient in using modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others

• Presents excellent analytical and communication skills

• Holds the ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation effectively

• Presents problem-solving skills

Specific requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience in IT, including 5 years as Business Analyst

• English: C1 (confirmed by a certificate)

• ICT relevant degree is mandatory

• Ability to evaluate and translate mobile usability standards

• Proficient in gathering and refining mobile-specific requirements via user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog grooming.

• Understanding of platform guidelines (Apple and Android), app store constraints, and push notification policies.

• Ability to use UX tools like Figma

At least 2 certifications among:

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent

• Certified UML Professional certificate at the foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or equivalent

• or equivalent certifications recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)

Offer:

• Rate: 165 pln/h net+VAT

• Remote set-up, with occasional visits in the office

• Delivery mode: Near-site service provision - must reside within 2 hours from client's Headquarters (Warsaw)
