We are looking for a highly motivated individual for an internship in Operations program management. As an Operations Program Management Intern in Samsung Ads Product and Engineering (P&E) Organization, you will contribute to the development of Strategic planning & Intake, Quarterly roadmap planning and execution process. You support improved organizational efficiency through continuous improvement of internal processes. You support the activity of a collection of Organizational metrics and support insights from the data to recommend operational improvements.
Expect to work between all teams and contribute to a proper planning and tasks execution.
Role and Responsibilities
- Work with a Senior Program Manager as your supervisor.
- Support engineering teams for capacity planning, program increment planning and allocation of resources to prioritized initiatives.
- Publish Organization’s quarterly committed roadmaps to stakeholders.
- Grow in the area of governance around execution to learn how to ensure that teams are delivering against the roadmap commits.
- Learn the organization level KPIs for Agile development teams to measure their performance on the office level.
- Work in the Jira with Business Intelligence (Analytics and Reports like Easy BI) tools that are insightful and help the leadership make informed decisions.
- Support a data-oriented culture, adoption of tools and process improvement projects to achieve operational and business goals.
- Take part in data insights and recommendations to functional leaders on operational efficiencies.
- Learn how to provide visibility to the stakeholder community on key milestones and business value delivered by the organization.
- Assist the activities around planning, execution, and reviews of site level OKRs.
- Get the experience of collaboration with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor’s in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of Atlassian’s JIRA and Confluence or similar tools.
- Be familiar with Agile Methodology and Metrics.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
Nice to have
- Understanding of program management of software development projects.
- Understanding of planning, portfolio management and roadmap planning.
- Understanding of digital advertising, Mobile, and/or Smart TV.
