Business Analyst

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Model and document value chains/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities, and data.

• Elicit and analyze business needs, requirements, and user stories.

• Support business experts and product owners in defining requirements and software development.

• Maintain and track requirements and user stories throughout the system lifecycle.

• Translate business, user, and technical needs into business requirements specifications.

• Map business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, and system features.

• Analyze existing systems to evaluate functionality and gaps.

• Support identification and evaluation of options for potential solutions.

• Assist in preparing business cases and feasibility studies.

• Contribute to systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management activities.

• Design, validate, and test business processes to support business process excellence.

• Take a holistic approach to planning and managing programs focused on continuous business process improvement.

• Coach staff on upcoming changes, ensuring plans are in place for learning new skills or process updates.

• Collaborate with end-to-end process owners to continuously identify and implement process improvements.

• Identify opportunities for business process optimization that enhance customer service and reduce operational costs.

Requirements:

• At least 2 certifications among:• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent,• Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or equivalent,• or equivalent certifications recognized internationally.

• Has gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of the software solution;

• Knowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation;

• Knowledge in requirements/user stories elicitation and analysis;

• Knows analysis/modelling notations like UML (capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model etc.);

• Is proficient in using modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others;

• Presents excellent analytical and communication skills;

• Holds ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation effectively;

• Presents problem solving skills;

• Ability to evaluate and translate mobilie usability standards;

• Proficient in gathering and refining mobile-specific requirements via user stories, acceptace criteria, and backlog grooming;

• Understading of platform guidelines (Apple and Android), app store constraints, and push notification policies;

• Ability to use UX tools like Figma.
