Senior Product Designer – UX, AI & Systems

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a product designer who blends craft, curiosity, and computation—someone who isn’t just fluent in Figma, but fluent in systems, storytelling, and emerging AI workflows.

Digital products thrive when user experiences are intuitive, inclusive, and delightful. As a Product Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with Product, Project Managers, and Engineering to turn validated hypotheses into human-centered designs. You’ll leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate workflows and maintain a cohesive, scalable design system across ventures.

Note: This role contributes to a high-impact initiative shaping the future of transportation in Saudi Arabia. While project specifics remain confidential, the work aligns with national priorities under Vision 2030.

What You’ll Own

🧠 User Research & Insights

• Plan and conduct user interviews, contextual inquiries, and usability tests to uncover deep user needs and pain points.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights and design principles.
• Leverage AI-powered research tools for automated transcription, sentiment analysis, participant recruitment, and collaborative insight mapping—helping the team surface patterns quickly and make data-informed decisions.
• Drive continuous discovery practices and service design thinking to inform both near-term usability and long-term experience architecture.

✨ AI-Assisted Design & Prototyping

• Use AI-augmented platforms (e.g., Lovable, Cursor, V0, Windsurf) to generate rapid prototypes, components, and user flows.
• Collaborate in maintaining and evolving a centralized, tokenized design system with documentation and version control.
• Experiment with AI as a co-creative partner—prompting ideas, generating variants, and shaping adaptive interfaces.

🖍 Interaction, Visual & Motion Design

• Create journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes aligned with product vision and brand.
• Define and validate interaction patterns to optimize usability, accessibility, and delight.
• Design microinteractions and motion to guide users, provide feedback, and elevate the experience.
• Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards across web and mobile platforms, following WCAG 2.1+ as well as platform-specific guidelines from Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design Accessibility standards.

🤝 Collaboration & Handoff

• Work closely with Engineers to translate designs into scalable, implementable components—bridging design intent with technical feasibility.
• Engage in technical discussions to understand system complexities and constraints, co-designing practical solutions that balance usability with performance.
• Work with Product Managers to align designs with feature hypotheses and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely integration into release plans.

What You Won’t Own

• Product Strategy & Prioritization: PMs define priorities and success metrics—you influence through research and design insight.
• Sprint Planning & Governance: Sprint rituals, dependencies, and risk tracking are owned by Project Managers.
• Release Scheduling: You’ll collaborate on readiness but won’t own timelines or budgets.

What You Bring

UX Experience & Expertise:

• 5+ years designing digital products with a portfolio that shows measurable impact, elegant problem-solving, and thoughtful system design.

AI Tool Proficiency:

• Comfort with AI-augmented design tools (Windsurf, Cursor, Lovable, Vibe Coding) or strong motivation to explore them rapidly.

Research, Testing & Metrics:

• Mastery of qualitative methods (e.g., interviews, field studies, usability tests) and solid grasp of analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude).
• Demonstrated ability to define and track UX metrics (e.g., task success, retention, NPS).

Technical Collaboration:

• Strong working knowledge of front-end tech (React, Tailwind, CSS frameworks). Experience with Figma-to-code tools and maintaining design tokens is a strong plus.

Communication & Influence:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication in English (Arabic is a strong plus). Confident presenting concepts, giving/receiving critique, and aligning diverse stakeholders.
