We are hiring a Lead Product Designer (UI/UX) for one of our clients — an innovative company building cutting-edge technology products. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the end-to-end user experience for a growing platform and help shape the direction of design across the product suite.

As Lead UX Designer, you’ll own the full design process, from discovery to final implementation, working closely with product and engineering to bring meaningful user experiences to life. You’ll also help define the UX vision, establish design practices, and guide other designers as the team scales.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on product and interaction design, especially for digital platforms or AI-driven products
• Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
• A compelling portfolio showcasing your UX thinking, user-centered design process, and polished, high-quality design work
• Previous experience in startup environments or high-growth companies, where you’ve had a significant influence on shaping the product
• Proven ability to take ownership of complex design projects, from research and ideation to execution and iteration
• Experience designing for AI-powered applications and understanding the challenges and nuances of machine learning-driven user experiences
• Proactive mindset—ability to bring fresh ideas, challenge the status quo, and actively drive the design process rather than merely executing predefined directions
• Leadership experience in small teams, with a track record of mentoring and guiding designers, fostering creativity, and building a culture of innovation and accountability

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process for the entire product, taking full ownership of the user experience and ensuring it aligns with both business goals and user needs
• Mentor and guide a small team of UX designers, fostering creativity, innovation, and a collaborative environment
• Redesign the current platform to enhance usability, visual appeal, and functionality, ensuring the product evolves to meet modern design standards and user expectations
• Take the lead in designing AI-powered features, ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into the product and provide real value to users
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and leadership, to ensure design solutions are technically feasible and align with the product vision
• Conduct and oversee user research to gather insights, test prototypes, and validate design decisions to ensure the best user experience
• Develop and maintain a scalable design system that ensures consistency across the platform and supports future iterations of the product
• Take a hands-on approach to UX/UI design, contributing to both high-level strategy and detailed design work, such as wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
