Senior Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carrying out manual and automated tests

• Working on automated test systems and automated test strategies

• Documenting test results and creating test reports

• Analyzing requirements, creating and reviewing test cases and test plans

• Monitoring compliance with quality standards in software development and metrics regarding software quality

• Analyzing and documenting errors

• Close cooperation with colleagues in testing and development

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification

• Minimum of 4-5 year experience in test and/or test automation

• Professional experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance

• Knowledge of test methods and test tools as well as agile software development processes

• Good technical understanding and strong analytical skills

• Experience with test management systems and a ticket management system (preferably Jira)

• Confident communication in English and Polish (knowledge of German is an advantage)

• Knowledge of tools and technologies like Jira, Selenium, JMeter, Rest API testing etc

• Programming language skills, like Java, and knowledge of micro services is a plus

• Openness to a hybrid way of working. We meet in the Katowice office weekly
