Position
We are looking for a Quality Assurance engineer to develop and execute manual and exploratory tests to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate should be an open-minded engineer with a willingness to develop themselves and the ability to work with rather complex systems.
Additional information
Model of work: hybrid, 3 days from the client's office (Katowice). Fully onsite during the onboarding.
Offered salary
Salary: from 800 to 1100 PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences.
You’re ideal for this role if you:
Strong QA methodology knowledge (ISTQB Foundation)
Excellent skills with documenting and troubleshooting errors (JIRA)
Knowledge of Test Automation
Basic knowledge of IT Infrastructure
Ability to writing technical documentation (Confluence)
Familiarity with different types of testing (regression, exploration, performance, E2E, FVT, penetration)
Knowledge of software development life cycle
Strong organizational skills and communication skills
Have ability to work in team
Good English communication skills (speaking and writing)
At least 5 years’ experience as test engineer (including experience in test automation)
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Nice to have:
API Testing: JMeter, Postman, Swagger
Knowledge of tools: Ranorex, XRay, GIT, Jenkins
Understanding Agile software development process
Analytical mind, interested in new technologies and not afraid of new challenges
Experience with contemporary quality approaches such as TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD
Programming skills (preferred C#, JavaScript, PowerShell)
Knowledge of MS SQL and T-SQL scripts and procedures.
Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure)
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Creating test cases and test reports based on test plan
Leading the test activities within the project
Create, update, maintain and execute API and UX tests
Create, maintain and improve test automation
Preparing clear, concise and comprehensive test concepts
Review and retest test failures and verify fixes
Report progress to the test manager
Deployment of new environments and updating existing environments
Participate in product planning and design
Collaborate with all product development teams
Setting up and maintaining test environments
