We build B2B legal technology that helps law firms and fund managers work faster and deliver high-quality results. Our product simplifies legal processes for raising private investment funds. It helps lawyers speed up drafting, negotiation, and compliance work at scale.

We use a single-tenant SaaS system hosted on AWS in several regions. Our modern tech stack includes Python/Django 4.2, React 18 with TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, S3, ECS, and Lambda. We work in Agile Scrum teams and follow strong CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt), and security-first practices (SOPS, KMS).

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to lead and improve our automated testing framework. This is a hands-on role that includes functional testing (UI and API) and non-functional testing (performance and security). A key part of the role is integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and supporting large-scale delivery.

The person in this role will design, maintain, and expand automated test suites. The goal is to provide fast feedback, reduce bugs, and keep high standards of quality and reliability across all environments.

QA Automation Tech Stack

• CI/CD & repository: Bitbucket Pipelines (with Qase and Allure integrations)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve automated UI and API test suites.

• Create strong cross-browser tests (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).

• Expand API test coverage (schema validation, contract checks, business workflows).

• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (smoke tests on pull requests, nightly regression tests, full test suites before release).

• Create and maintain performance and load tests using Locust.

• Set up and run automated security scans using OWASP ZAP.

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure test environments run smoothly.

• Monitor pipeline results, analyze test failures, and keep tests stable and reliable.

• Support junior QA engineers and share best practices in automation and test design.

Essential Requirements

• Strong experience as an Automation QA Engineer in a SaaS company.

• Strong skills in Python and pytest for automation.

• Practical experience with Playwright.

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into delivery processes.

• Good understanding of API testing (requests, schema validation, contract testing).

• Experience with performance or load testing (Locust or similar tools).

• Basic experience with security testing (OWASP ZAP or similar tools).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with different specialists.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in legal technology or document-focused systems.

• Experience with cloud-based test environments (AWS, Docker, Localstack for S3/SQS simulation).

• Experience managing test data (Faker, seeded data, API-based setup).

• Knowledge of monitoring tools and CI/CD quality checks (SonarQube, Pylint, coverage thresholds).

• Experience fixing unstable tests and improving automation reliability at scale.
