We build AI that takes drive-thru orders. Our system helps restaurants serve faster and with fewer mistakes. It can be adjusted for scripts, upsells, and voice, while also fitting local menus and offers. By reducing stress and saving work hours, we improve both staff and guest experience. We are growing fast and already have the largest number of voice AI drive-thru deployments.

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead/Senior Python Engineer who enjoys coding daily and has experience leading teams. As our team grows, this role will evolve into a team leader position, giving you the chance to guide and mentor others while continuing hands-on development. Our backend is all in Python, running in the cloud on Kubernetes. It handles real-time audio and connects with many third-party systems.

You will:

• Write and maintain backend code daily

• Connect with POS systems and digital menu boards

• Build pipelines to process menus

• Support and improve integrations

• Debug and solve customer issues

• Plan and deliver projects

• Write documentation

• Guide and mentor team members as the team grows

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Python

• Knowledge of TypeScript and React (at least basic)

• 2+ years of experience as a team leader

• Strong backend and architecture skills

• Projects deployed in production

• Async IO experience

• Knowledge of CI/CD, cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, APIs

• Experience with data pipelines / ETL

• Startup experience

• BSc in Software Development or similar experience
