The RedFlag Accelerator sets the industry standard for detecting financial crimes. Using a persona-oriented approach, it identifies the actors behind transactions—victims, money-laundering professionals, perpetrators, and more. By combining the very latest red flags, crime models, and OSINT data, our system detects crimes spanning labor and sex trafficking, elder abuse, drug trafficking, as well as scams and potential APP fraud within financial transactions. Our comprehensive offerings include algorithms, analytics, and training tools for bank's systems and team.

With offices in London, Warsaw, Antwerp, Tokyo, Miami, Toronto, and Pune, we support clients worldwide.

The RedCompass Labs Academy

The RedCompass Labs Academy is a centre of excellence, based in Warsaw, offering a 9-month technical programme to build knowledge, foster personal development, and develop practical skills and Business awareness across both analytical and technical work streams.

The Academy will equip you with both the mindset and tools to challenge and solve client problems in the Financial Industry. Working exclusively alongside our unique data driven initiatives the programme is built to drive you to become articulate, confident, analytical, collaborative forward-thinking graduates.

Post-graduation there is the opportunity to support RedCompass Labs and our clients in Belgium, Warsaw, London, Singapore, or Tokyo depending on where there may be open career roles.

The Role:

Academy candidates initially follow several classrooms based ‘Core’ modules, that will provide you with a foundation in:

• Core Banking

• Payments

• Financial Crime

• Agile practices

• Software Development Lifecyle

• Data Science

Successful completion of this initial core part of the programme will allow you to enter a more focused curriculum:

• Java 11+ programming language

• Python Fundamentals

• Stream programming

• LLMs and practical AI usage in software development

• Prompt engineering

• Microservices and distributed systems

• Cloud Computing using AWS

• Design patterns and good practices

• Linux and shell scripting

• Structured and Unstructured data

• Traditional data analytics techniques

• Data Science tools & techniques

• Machine learning & Neural Networks

This will include:

• Working alongside highly skilled RedCompass Labs engineers & Data Scientists

• Further development and expansion of our AI solution

• An opportunity to work on initiatives of Social Responsibility (Human Trafficking)

Academy Mandatory Requirements (Technical)

RedCompass is looking for dynamic people to join this program. Our ideal candidate:

• Has an analytical mind that can grasp complex solutions

• Demonstrates the ability to be adaptable

• Is a team player and a confident communicator

• Is eager to learn and apply new skills

• Speaks English fluently (minimum B2/C1)

• Has some experience with programming languages such as: Java, C#, C++, Python

Expected Knowledge

The candidate holds a bachelors / master’s degree in one of (or equivalent) Computer science, information technology, programming, engineering, Math or is in the final years of their university degree.
