This IT consultant role will be part of the Operations Center. The scope for this role is to perform operations for network, security, cloud and server. Operations refer to monitoring, incident solving based on alerts, troubleshooting, preventing incidents from happening by observing patterns, capacity management and reporting.

The IT consultant’s role is to provide efficient operations using automation as much as possible. The work will be based on a data driven approach, a structured way of working and thorough documentation. The role will include regular reporting as input to capacity management, the budgeting process and the continuous improvement of the utilization of the IT infrastructure.

Look what you will responsible for?

  •  Proactive incident solving based on monitoring alerts
  •  Establishing monitoring dashboards (including maps)
  •  Maintaining and updating procedures and documentation
  •  Preventing incidents from happening – observing patterns
  •  Monitoring: availability, performance monitoring, End2End
  •  Incident solution based on monitoring alerts
  •  Patch management (Maintain the yearly wheel and coordinate service windows together with the BRMs and Service Managers)
  •  Capacity management
  •  Monthly reporting including FinOps reporting
  •  Practical assistance in disaster recovery

  • 1+ year experience in a global support environment
