Senior QA Engineer

R Systems is searching for an experienced Standard/Senior QA Engineer to join our team of innovators!

Your contribution:

• Create, maintain and execute automated tests to support agile software development and in line with the automation strategy. 
• Assist in execution and debugging of automated tests occurring from both development processes and from execution within CI/CD pipelines. 
• Run exploratory and usability tests using various testing tools. 
• Follow best practices of the QA team and assist in driving the QA strategy. 
• Help influence developers on how they approach testing, guiding design of development test automation suites. 
• Analyze new releases to create appropriate testing plans. 
• Expected to support leading an automation-first and test-driven development mindset across the teams. 

Bring along:

• 3 + years of experience of test automation in programming languages (Python, Java is nice to have).
• Experience in testing APIs, REST & SOAP Web services.
• Experience with open-source test automation tools (for example, JUnit, Pact, Cucumber, etc.); building automated functional regression test suites.
• Experience with Postman, Hoppscotch or similar API testing tools.
• Good analytical mind – problem solving skills; on your own or brainstorming with colleagues.
• Good investigatory skills – able to find, outline and fix issues that arise in complex microservice deployments.
• Strong communication skills, both spoken and written – to talk about your work with both technical and non-technical people.
• Ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies and techniques.
• Working experience in Agile development teams and understanding of development processes and concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills in English (advanced level)
