Senior QA Engineer (Databrics)

Project Information:

Currently, for our Client in the insurance industry, we are looking for a Senior QA Engineer:

Project: 

• Maintenance and development of Oracle warehouse 
• Maintenance and migration to MS Azure 
• Building of new warehouse on MS Azure cloud using Databricks and DBT 

Technology Stack: SQL, Oracle, MS Azure
Work Mode: remote
Salary: 140 - 160 PLN/h + VAT (B2B) 
Collaboration Model: Contract with Neontri (service outsourcing)

Responsibilities:

• Testing data quality on Oracle platform 
• Testing data quality on Databricks and DBT  
• Ability to test ETL flows  
• Design and create manual test cases  
• Performing manual and automated tests and documenting the results  
• Reporting bugs and monitoring the process of their repair 
• Report on test progress and monitor test case and defect metrics  
• Supporting other QA Engineers in their tasks
• Sharing expertise knowledge with other QA Engineers 
• Performing peer review of test cases

Recruitment Process:

It consists of 2 stages:

1. A brief (approximately 20-minute) phone interview with our HR department.
2. An online tech talk with the Client (approximately 1 hour). There will be questions about your experience and technical knowledge during this conversation.

Requirements:

• Very good knowledge of SQL 
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle warehouse technology 
• Advanced knowledge of Azure and Databricks technologies 
• Ability to test REST\GraphQL services

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge of PL/SQL Developer 
• Good knowledge of GIT 
• Ability to use Jira/ Confluence (to create a TestPlans) 
• RDP 
• MS Excel 
• Pentaho
