IT Technical Writer

People More has been in existence for over three years and is an offshoot of one of the country's oldest interactive agencies - Insignia. The company is made up of people with a huge client base in the country and abroad, for whom we build projects from scratch (UX, UI, frontend, backend, mobile) or in part. We work directly for our clients and also support our partners in their own solutions. This ensures a wide range of projects and the ability to change! We work with clients all over the world.

For the project that we are working on with our partner, we are looking for Technical Writer - hybrid work in Gliwice.

Your duties will include:

• Develop, organize, and write user guides, manuals, instruction documents, and other technical publications.
• Research products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented and ensure they are easily understood by a broad audience.
• Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
• Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and form documentation.
• Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
• Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions

Requirements that must be met:

• Experience in Technical Writing for the IT/Software industry
• Able to understand highly technical content, such as software code, system administration tasks, databases, network security etc.
• Experience with Java enterprise software development (nice to have)
• knowledge of Java/Spring (nice to have)
• Agile Methodologies
• Knowledge of component content management systems (CCMS)
• Knowledge of XML-based document management
• DITA best practices for documentation design and content classification
• Ixiasoft CCMS (nice to have)
• SAP Commerce and/or SAP S/4Hana/ERP knowledge (nice to have)
• Fluent Polish and English
