People More has been in existence for over three years and is an offshoot of one of the country's oldest interactive agencies - Insignia. The company is made up of people with a huge client base in the country and abroad, for whom we build projects from scratch (UX, UI, frontend, backend, mobile) or in part. We work directly for our clients and also support our partners in their own solutions. This ensures a wide range of projects and the ability to change! We work with clients all over the world.
For the project that we are working on with our foreign partner, we are looking for Backend Lead Developer.
Your duties will include:
Leading backend development and architectural transformation of scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms using microservices and modern engineering practices. While not directly responsible for DevOps or CI/CD ownership, the role requires strong practical experience and close collaboration with DevOps specialists to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and operational excellence.
Requirements that must be met:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as Backend Developer
- Experience in Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js (NestJS)
- Knowledge of design, development, and orchestration of microservices-based systems
- Experience with service discovery, inter-service communication, and distributed data management
- Implementation of microservices using REST APIs and asynchronous messaging patterns
- Authentication & Authorization: Keycloak, JWT, OAuth
- API Design: RESTful API development and integration
- Database Management: PostgreSQL and NoSQL: experience with document and key-value stores
- DevOps & CI/CD Collaboration
- Hands-on familiarity with GitLab CI, Docker, Podman, Kubernetes (K8s), K3s
- Experience using ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform, and Ansible for deployment and configuration
- Understands DevOps principles and integrates them into development workflows
- Experience with tools like Secrets Operator and secure injection of secrets into applications
- Understanding of TLS/SSL certificate lifecycle and integration into services
- Implementation of secure coding standards, access control, and data protection mechanisms
- Compliance with security benchmarks and legal requirements
- Experience designing and implementing highly available systems
- Familiarity with load balancing, failover strategies, and distributed system reliability
- Used to collaboration with infrastructure teams to ensure redundancy and uptime
- Design and integration of audit logging mechanisms for traceability and compliance
- Grafana Stack, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry (OTEL) for metrics, logs, and traces
- Experience designing large-scale systems and platforms
- Practical knowledge of architecture transformation and migration
- Familiarity with TOGAF framework
- Platform Concepts:
- Multi-tenancy
- Separation of platform and application layers
- Practical knowledge of SaaS and hybrid deployment models (cloud & on-prem)
- API Management & Event-Driven Architecture
- Knowledge of API gateways and event-driven patterns
- Deep understanding of SSDLC best practices
- Very good English and Polish
