Our client, a global technology leader operating across international markets, is expanding its advanced R&D activities and is looking for an AI Researcher to bridge Artificial Intelligence with semiconductor design and materials science.
This role begins with a 12-month residency in Shenzhen, one of the world’s leading technology hubs, working on high-impact AI applications in hardware innovation.
Your Role
Develop AI-driven solutions for circuit design automation (EDA, layout, verification)
Apply Deep Learning and generative models to material simulation and discovery
Collaborate with international R&D teams to translate research into industrial applications
Contribute to publications and patents
Requirements
MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
Strong background in Machine Learning (Deep Learning, Generative Models, RL, Physics-Informed ML)
Experience in semiconductor design (EDA) or materials simulation
Proficiency in Python (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
Willingness to relocate to China for 12 months
Nice to have: experience with semiconductor design tools, multiphysics simulation, or scientific publications.
