FIS Quantum Service Engineer

We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented Service Engineer to join our Treasury Technology team. In this role, you’ll provide end-to-end support for FIS Quantum, FIS Echos, and SWIFT systems, with a strong focus on integration with Oracle Fusion modules including Intercompany, General Ledger, and Cash Management.

This is a hybrid role requiring both financial systems expertise and technical troubleshooting skills to ensure smooth and efficient treasury operations.

It's a hybrid role for either Warsaw or Gdańsk.

Key Responsibilities

System Support & Troubleshooting

• Deliver comprehensive support for FIS Quantum and Echos treasury management systems.

• Maintain and manage static data within Quantum to ensure system accuracy and integrity.

• Troubleshoot and enhance Enterprise Workflow Framework (EWF) components, including reports and action-based triggers.

• Resolve interface issues related to bank statements and cashflows.

• Configure and support Cash Xplorer functionality.

• Support core treasury functions such as In-House Banking (IHB), Cash Forecasting, and Intercompany Settlement.

• Provide responsive and effective user support by analyzing and prioritizing incoming tickets.

• Document solutions and contribute to the internal knowledge base.

Technical Operations

• Utilize strong Oracle/SQL Server skills to maintain system performance and reliability.

• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data extraction.

• Apply knowledge of the Quantum data model to resolve complex issues.

• Work with GoldenGate and Datapipelines for seamless data integration.

• Support integration between FIS systems and Oracle Fusion AGIS/GL modules.

• Manage and track support requests using the FIS ticketing system.

Governance & Compliance

• Maintain up-to-date SOPs, process documentation, and impact assessments for system changes.

• Conduct regression testing and readiness assessments for quarterly cloud updates.

• Ensure compliance with SOX and internal financial controls.

• Participate in change management processes to minimize operational risk.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with FIS Quantum and Echos.

• Proven expertise in maintaining static data within financial systems.

• Strong command of Oracle/SQL Server databases and query development.

• Experience with Enterprise Workflow Framework (EWF) in Quantum.

• Solid understanding of treasury operations including IHB, Cash Forecasting, and Intercompany Settlement.

• Familiarity with bank statement and cashflow interfaces.

• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cash Xplorer.

• Working knowledge of GoldenGate and Datapipelines technologies.

• Understanding of SOX compliance and financial system controls.

• Proficiency with FIS support tools, including the ticketing system.
