Motorola Solutions runs a state of the art enterprise network that delivers global VoIP and VaaS capabilities as well as HD video collaboration in over 100 locations worldwide. This position is based in our Krakow Poland campus and will include hands-on support for the Krakow offices. Tasks include support of network operations to ensure integrity, performance and uptime of our global LAN, WAN and Wireless Networks. This full-time position supports, installs, configures, and evaluates network communications, including LAN, WAN, and telecommunications hardware and software. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing. Establishes and documents standards for network architecture, and ensures total network integration. Provides capacity planning and monitoring. Ideal candidates for the Network Engineer position will possess 4+ years of network experience.
Basic Requirements
Troubleshooting skills to resolve complex problems.
Good documentation skills
Good interpersonal skills
Experience with OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP dynamic routing protocols and redistribution
Multilayer switching experience
Work in the second shift hours (2pm - 10pm CET)
Skills and Experience:
4+ years of network experience with switching and routing
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience with the configuration, installation, and monitoring of network equipment
2+ years with WAN such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VRF
2+ years with LAN/WLAN, such as DNS, IP Addressing, QoS, Spanning Tree, Multicast
2+ years with Cisco routers
Cisco certifications
English - excellent knowledge (work with the USA)
