IT Business Analyst

We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst on behalf of our client – an international insurance company operating across multiple European markets – to join their Commercial Business Transformation team.

In this role, you will report directly to the Commercial Business Transformation Product Owner and support both large-scale projects and smaller initiatives, particularly those involving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Guidewire implementations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis and system implementation projects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proven experience in producing analytical documentation.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently.

• Ability to visualise problems and ideas effectively.

• Fluency in English.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of Property & Casualty Commercial Insurance business.

• Experience in CRM and ERP implementations.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, MS Power Tools, Guidewire, and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements in close collaboration with technical teams.

• Secure approval of development requirements from the Product Owner, business representatives, and technical teams.

• Deliver high-quality project artefacts, including process maps, blueprints, gap analyses, presentations, product backlog items, and user stories.

• Analyse application usage and quality, identify process inefficiencies and data quality issues, and propose effective solutions.

• Work effectively within an Agile team environment.

• Prepare clear documentation of developed solutions for end users.

• Build and maintain super user–level knowledge of the applications to ensure successful project delivery and adoption.
