Network Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid or Senior IT Network Engineer to join our team at a leading IT integrator. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and secure network solutions for a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong problem-solving abilities to deliver exceptional service and ensure optimal network performance. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and deploy network solutions tailored to client requirements, including SDWAN, SASE, LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Perform troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Conduct network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
• Implement and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of network solutions with other IT systems.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical expertise for client proposals, including solution design and cost estimation.
• Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and recommend innovative solutions to clients.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications in networking, such as CCNP, CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent (senior roles may require advanced certifications).
• Senior Level: Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering, preferably within an IT integrator or similar environment.
• Mid-Level: Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering, with exposure to complex network environments.
• Proficient in configuring and managing routers, switches, and firewalls from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar.
• Experience with network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP) and technologies (e.g., VLANs, MPLS, SD-WAN).
• Knowledge of network security principles and tools, including VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and zero-trust models.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve network issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to knowledge sharing and mentorship.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Powershell, Python or Ansible) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
