Regular QA Specialist

Merixstudio is a full-stack, agile software team of creative technologists from Poznań.

What you'll do:

You’ll be identifying, tasking, and tracking bugs in web and mobile apps. Reviewing the requirements and specifications will also be a part of your job.

You'll work in close cooperation with customers, developers, and product managers to identify system requirements. Writing detailed Behaviour-driven development scenarios, test plans, and test cases will be your responsibility. You'll be creating GUI and API automation scripts in JavaScript using such open source tools as Cypress. Working in an Agile environment, you'll be using tools like Postman for exploratory API testing.

Who you are (requirements):

1. good knowledge of tests' levels, types and techniques
2. commercial experience working with bug trackers (Jira)
3. good knowledge of web browser technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
4. experience in writing test plans and/or test cases
5. familiarity with GUI and/or API automated testing
6. familiarity with Git (e.g. Github, GitLab)
7. good command of written and spoken English
8. strong written and verbal communication skills
9. familiarity with Agile methodologies

What we'd like to see (nice-to-haves):

1. familiarity with performance, mobile, usability and/or security testing issues
2. experience in working with CI/CD
3. your experience in writing BDD scenarios and adding JavaScript code to them
4. ISTQB Foundation Level, ISTQB Agile Tester, extension certificates
5. if you had a chance to work in projects developed in technologies similar to ours and you had a chance to present your work in front of a client is a nice set
