- Promotes and trains on continuous testing / agile test strategies;
- Designing test strategies, test plans, and test cases from requirements, design documents and specifications for testing across different platforms (on premise, mobile, IoT, cloud) and with an emphasis on automation;
- Designing and implementing strategy to execute automated tests daily on test environment, monitoring automated test results and reporting defects;
- Designing and implementing strategy to keep automated tests up to date;
- Defining, developing and implementing software application testing standards and procedures and oversee testing across SDLC;
- Identifying regression test candidates for automation, planning automation activities across the team and automating test cases;
- Participation in daily scrum meetings, agile ceremonies and periodical test team meetings;
- Participation in all phases of software development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection;
- Providing innovative solutions for more efficient testing strategy and test automation;
- Helping other testers in adopting test automation.
Required skills:
- 4+ years of automated QA testing experience;
- Strong testing experience with a good understanding of software test lifecycle including writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans and test design documents, test data setup, defect management, test log, test results, test traceability matrix;
- Strong experience of software automation tools and framework;
- Experience working in test environments that require API (SOAP, REST, JMS) and UI testing;
- Expertise in testing web-based applications and web services-based systems with minimal to no user interface;
- Experience in writing SQLs to query the backend during the test execution;
- Ability to work in projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies;
- Experience with application lifecycle management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA or Azure DevOps;
- Ability to produce clear, concise, and detailed documentation;
- Excellent communication (in English), presentation, collaborative problem-solving skills and a team player;
- Ability to cross-train junior team members;
- Opportunity to travel internationally (after the end of the pandemic). Currently, we are working remotely, so you can work from any town in Poland. After the pandemic ends, we will work in a hybrid model: remote + on the client-side model.
Nice to have
- Experience in defining CI/CD pipelines using industry standard software.
- Experience with testing at least one of the following systems: Salesforce, Temenos T24 or SAP.
