Integration Engineer (Payment sector)

For our client, we are currently looking for an Integration Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute technical implementations of Payment Hub products, including configuration, customization and integrations

• Design and develop custom scripts, extensions and workflows using JavaScript and Groovy

• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions in cooperation with solution architects and business teams

• Develop and support integrations with core banking systems, payment channels, clearing and settlement systems and third-party services

• Configure and customize payment flows for domestic, international, real-time, batch and high-value payment types

• Support data mapping, message transformation and validation for ISO 20022, SWIFT, XML, JSON and proprietary formats

• Perform unit and integration testing and support UAT, including defect analysis and resolution

• Support performance tuning, troubleshooting and root cause analysis during implementation and post go-live phases

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including configuration guides, design documents and implementation runbooks

• Provide knowledge transfer and technical support to internal teams and client stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and Groovy

• Good understanding of Payment Hub architectures, payment orchestration, routing, validation and exception handling

• Experience with integrations in enterprise payment environments

• Knowledge of payment message standards, including ISO 20022

• Experience working on enterprise and banking system implementation
