Test Automation Engineer (with C#)

Senior Automation Test Engineer (AI / C# / Selenium)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong programming skills in C# and hands-on experience in testing and debugging AI-driven systems. This role combines automation (70%) and manual testing (30%), with a special focus on challenges related to agentic and autonomous AI.

The position requires occasional business travel to Germany, including a mandatory 1-week onboarding on-site. You will work closely with QA specialists and AI developers in an international, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute automated and manual test scenarios for AI-driven applications.

• Evaluate and enhance QA processes, ensuring quality across functional, integration, and AI-specific test cases.

• Investigate, reproduce, and document software defects and anomalous AI behaviors.

• Expand and optimize automation frameworks within CI/CD pipelines.

• Support acceptance testing with customers, ensuring reliability, performance, and security of AI solutions.

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.

• Strong C# programming skills and ability to write/debug test automation code.

• Practical experience with SpecFlow, Selenium, XRay, JMeter (including AI-focused use cases).

• Knowledge of testing methodologies for agentic / autonomous AI systems.

• Excellent command of English (spoken and written); German is a plus.

• Background in computer science, IT, or related field (degree or equivalent professional experience).
