Automation Tester (remote)

About the Project:

For our client, a provider of digital identity and cybersecurity solutions, we are looking for an Automation Tester.

The person in this role will join a team responsible for developing a login system that enables citizens and businesses in Denmark to securely access public services using a single digital identity.

Locaton: 100% remote (occasional travel to Copenhagen).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design, maintain, and enhance the automated testing framework to ensure high-quality software delivery.
2. Collaborate in the analysis of business logic changes to identify and design comprehensive test scenarios for new functionalities.
3. Write and maintain automated test cases (functional and Rest/API tests in Cucumber).
4. Execute tests across multiple platforms, including various operating systems, browsers, and mobile devices.
5. Analyze test results, report findings, and contribute to risk assessments for identified bugs.
6. Participate in deployments of new releases.

Expectations:

1. Minimum 4 -5 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
2. Solid understanding of testing processes and test design techniques
3. ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
4. Practical experience with various operating systems, browsers, and mobile devices.
5. Proven experience in test automation and working with automation tools such as Cucumber and Playwright.
6. Experience in writing implementation for Playwright.
7. Experience in writing Cucumber step definitions (preferably in Java)
8. Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams
9. Experience with JIRA and test management tools.
