Role Description:

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, planning, and maintenance of enterprise-level systems. Your duties will include system architecture, configuration, deployment, and ensuring systems' operational efficiency. You will focus on improving deployment processes, documenting procedures, and maintaining compliance with regulations and certifications. Working closely with the Systems Engineering and Infrastructure teams, you will support the transition to containerized environments, monitor system performance and capacity, and contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity plans.


Responsibilities:


  • Design, plan, and maintain enterprise systems architecture.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain global infrastructure systems.
  • Improve deployment efficiency and system performance.
  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain technical documentation and a knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with teams on system automation and containerized environments.
  • Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Support cross-functional teams to optimize system development and deployment.


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 6 years of active experience in Linux System Administration (RHCE level, certification not required).
  • Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and related products (certified professional level, certification not required).
  • Strong knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS).
  • Fundamental understanding of networking, load balancing, and clustering.
  • Experience with storage systems, virtualization, and server provisioning.
  • Understanding of ITIL principles (not required but a plus).
  • Strong emphasis on security practices.
  • Proven experience working in enterprise environments.
