Role Description
It is a Lead Eng / Architect / Test / QA lead role, to support our ambition with our client for fully accountable squads, without specific QA / test roles within them – the shift left mindset for product engineering, hence a Shift left consultant. Specifically, this role is not to be traditional QA, it is to help coach, both technically, culturally, and hands-on, how the ensure we are building with test automation in mind from the start, and how to understand its importance and embrace the benefits.
- Someone who has done this, technically hands-on, and delivered it, not someone who can just talk to it - more a Lead Engineer / Architect with a strong focus on QA and automation implementation
- Leadership and demonstrable ability and success at bringing organizations and multiple squads on that journey
- Very experienced Engineer, who understands the value of shifting left, how do we ensure we embed it and grow it organically
- Engineer with a QA mindset, not a Test Lead with an Eng mindset
