Senior Data Platform Engineer - Python or Go

We are looking for an experienced engineer to develop and maintain scalable internal data applications and platform services. The role focuses on backend and platform engineering, including data infrastructure, metadata services, reliability, and operational tooling.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and data platform services.

• Improve system reliability, monitoring, and operational processes.

• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams and support junior developers.

• Contribute to modern development practices, including AI-assisted coding workflows.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Python and/or Golang.

• Solid understanding of distributed systems and data platform technologies.

• Experience with cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.

• Familiarity with Kafka, observability tools, and automated testing.

• Ability to work independently in fast-paced and evolving environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience with data warehouse or data lake architectures.

• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or OpenTelemetry.

• Background in financial services or large-scale enterprise environments.

• Experience working with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
